Save-the-Date for September 20, 2014
Southern California Children's Museum is pleased to announce that the Second Annual Touch-a-Truck event will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Santa Anita Park from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., with a horn free hour from 9:00 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Children will have a hands-on learning experience and have an opportunity to explore a variety of large trucks, heavy machinery, recreational vehicles and emergency vehicles. There will be dozens of vehicles for children to climb, touch and see and even sit in the driver's seat.
Trucks in attendance include: Construction vehicles from RDO Equipment Co., dump truck from West Coast Sand and Gravel, vehicles from the United States Army, the Los Angeles County Fire Department's Quakey Shakey Schoolhouse Earthquake Simulator and many more!
Other attractions include a beach ball dump, a Cozy Coupe carwash, and Home Depot Kids Workshop activities. Goody bags will be available while supplies last. Food trucks will have food and beverages for purchase.
Tickets will be $5 each or $15 for a family of 4. Children under the age of one are FREE. There will be a $4 onsite parking fee on the day of the event.
