Pamela Dansby, of Pasadena, has been appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom to serve as a Judge in the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Dansby has been Managing Attorney at Dansby Law Group APC since 2005. She served as a Deputy Alternate Public Defender at the Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender’s Office from 2000 to 2005. Dansby served as a Deputy Public Defender at the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office from 1995 to 2000. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School. She is also a graduate of John Muir High School in Pasadena. Dansby fills the vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Holly Thomas to the federal bench.
