DerWolf Commits to Serving 300 Meals in 2022 in Partnership with Union Station Homeless Services
As families continue to celebrate the holidays together, DerWolf, a family-owned and operated restaurant and lounge in Old Town Pasadena, has joined the Union Station Homeless Services Adopt-a-Meal program and will be assembling nutritious dinners for Adult Center residents. To help raise awareness and continuously support the program throughout the year, DerWolf and their staff have committed to serving meals every month throughout 2022, representing 300 meals for the year. In addition, on the last Wednesday of every month throughout 2022, DerWolf will promote Union Station within the restaurant. Dinners donating $20 or more will receive a free Pretzel as a thank you. According to the Northwestern Institute for Policy research, almost half of the nation’s fruits and vegetables are produced in California, yet 1 in 5 Californians – almost 8 million – currently struggle with food insecurity. “My father experienced homelessness as a young man, and he explains that it was rough. Providing 300 meals and an opportunity for our patrons to donate and learn more about this cause makes me feel like we can make a difference,” said Ms. Aceves. DerWolf is a family-owned and operated restaurant and lounge located in Old Town Pasadena at 72 N. Fair Oaks Ave., Pasadena, CA 91103.
