The Aspires program primary purpose is to instill values, develop and implement needed educational support and social skills in the lives of students in order for them to be successful in life. We are seeking to fulfill this purpose through Personalized Educational Methods (PEM) blended with mentorship, family support and services. The program utilizes the vast resources of wisdom and experience that mature, young and older adults possess, to guide young people through the critical stages of their lives.
Moreover, high tech computers will be used for academic training with coaches assisting through tutoring, sharing career opportunities and counseling. Other resources are offered that will enable students to complete a high school education, to be fully prepared for entrance into higher education, and pursue careers of their choice.
A variety of classes (Supplemental Instruction) will be offered such as: Language Arts (reading, writing, speaking, etc.), Mathematics (arithmetic, geometry, algebra, calculus, etc.) Computer Technology, Parenting Exchange, and Life Skills & The Law.

Marian Wright Edelman, president of the Children's Defense Fund, reminds us that "generations to come, the power of education to develop good character and put young people on the right path remained a cornerstone of American thought about teaching our children." It is well known that educating children still benefits the whole community.
