"4th & Goal"
I was asked to review a movie, and I agreed to do so. When it arrived, I put it on my desk so that I would not forget that It had arrived. My filing system is kind of nonexistent, if you know what I mean.
So, I blocked out 91 minutes to watch it, and then I would do the rest of my chores. I looked at the information, and I was disappointed in not seeing the names of any stars that I recognized. How could there be a movie without stars?
Putting that issue aside, I turned it on and started to watch. Once the movie started, I found myself mesmerized. I do not think that I could have left it, even if my house had caught on fire. It was that good! It was that enjoyable. I will have to see it again, and again!
The title is "4th & Goal" and it is a documentary about the life of six Junior College football players.
The movie follows their life experiences for six years. I felt that I got to know them, and to understand their fears and their dreams.
I respect the fact seeing this movie was a learning experience for me, and I am grateful for that. However, in my opinion, the main reason to see this movie, is that you will enjoy it!
