Ideal Youth's Fourth Annual City of Pasadena Night

Fundraiser to Benefit Youth Summer Interns Latino Fiesta Night

Los Angeles, CA – Each year the Ideal Youth summer intern program invites the City of Pasadena to Staples Center for an evening complete with competitive WNBA basketball, exciting performances by Pasadena youth organizations and star studded entertainment. On Saturday, August 25, 2012 over 1,000 Pasadena area residents will attend their Fourth Annual City of Pasadena Night themed "Latino Fiesta Night" to celebrate Latino heritage.

To kick off this year's fundraiser trumpeter, singer, songwriter and record producer David Longoria will have fans on their feet while performing during prime-time with The Dance Family Studio. The National Anthem will be performed by Barbara Allen. After the Sparks take on the New York Liberty in a WNBA showdown beginning at 7:00 p.m., fans will be treated to exciting post game performances by Grammy Award winner Jon Secada, Billboard chart toppers Baby Bash and D'Manti and the creator and host of "Hot Tamales Live" Kiki Melendez. The 2010 winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing Felipe Esparza will host the entire evening.

The Sparks 2012 "City of Pasadena Night" is presented in partnership with the City of Pasadena, Pasadena Tournament of Roses, F&M Business Center, and Unyque Financial.  The event is sponsored by El Portal, First Student, Pasadena Journal, Pasadena Star News, Robins Ribs and Wells Fargo Colorado Branch.

Pasadena residents can purchase special floor seat tickets for only $23.00. For ticket information, contact Ishmael Trone 626-796-7164, Ext 12.
