The little guys in the game of the college game UCONN's Lyle McCombs (5'8" - 167) and (5'9"- 190) Ray "Graham Central Station" Graham of the University of Pittsburg.
In the 2011 season McCombs gained 1,151 yards and scored seven times, averaging 96 yards.This year he has had three 100 yard games including 120 against Pitt and 133 on 29 carries in an upset win against BCS bound Louisville.
Ray Graham's exceptional junior campaign was cut short due to a right knee injury sustained early in the season's eighth game against Connecticut . . . finished with 958 yards and nine TDs on 164 carries (5.8 avg.) for the year . . . also had 30 catches for 200 yards (6.7 avg.) . . . prior to the injury, Graham was on a rushing pace that was second at Pitt only to the legendary Tony Dorsett's Heisman Trophy senior season in 1976.
Graham has plans to be in broadcasting.
