The Obama Surge!

"And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows" (Exodus 3:20)President Obama has declared that a free, and more democratic, America will emerge!

All the people’s voices will be heard!

I went to Washington, D.C., and stood with millions at the Inauguration, to observe.

He’s the President I preferred! I’m impressed with his wife, Michelle, and two little girls! The Obama’s coming onto the scene, incredibly, shook the world! He’s a brilliant African American leader who is unparalleled!

Our economic woes, he promises to quell.

Equal education, energy efficiency, environmental efficacy, and transportation infrastructure are on the agenda he foretells.

President Barack Obama’s vision for unity has already caused us to excel.

New pride in our country makes our hearts swell.

Blacks, Whites, Latinos, Asians, and Native Americans are embracing so well.

He says we have one thing to sell—love and harmony among all people shall prevail!"Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law." (Romans 13:8)

Dear Readers,

As I traveled to the January 20, 2009 Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C., blessed with tickets from Congressman Adam Schiff; it caused my heart to lift.

All over this nation, people were galvanized around a leader—were, previously, we had been adrift.

Once again, HOPE was within our midst! The name ‘Barack Obama’ was shouted from their lips! It was electrifying to see colors of all mankind—United in purpose with one thing in mind! Support the President Elect, so his campaign promises can be met.

Jesus, in our lifetime, allowed the entire world to witness this feat! God used Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to prophecy this coming event at the March on Washington—August 28, 1963!

He reiterated it prophetically, again, at his last speech in Memphis, TN on April 3, 1968. Now, the time had come! No more did we have to wait.

I was thrilled to be with my 78 year old mother, Gloria Stanford—she was reared in racial segregation, and now saw how God had raised up a standard!

She and I were among the throngs of people—a hundred feet deep.

Rejoicing and cheering! We prayed to God with thanksgiving, and at times, did even weep!
