George was born and raised in Fulton, Missouri. After receiving his Master’s Degree in Social Work, George worked as a Clinical Social Worker for more than 35 years. He worked in the Veterans Administration most of his career in Missouri, Oklahoma and California. George was a part-time Instructor at the University of Phoenix, Cal State University, San Bernardino and at Azusa Pacific University.
George was a family man, married to Gail Valentine Taylor for 35 years. He raised 3 daughters, and mentored 4 grandsons. He enjoyed traveling with his family throughout the US. He took flight and cruised to The Bahamas, Jamaica, Alaska, Columbia, Panama, Mexico, The Virgin Islands and various other destinations. Above all George loved the Lord. He served in various capacities in churches through tout the years. He was a member of Friendship Pasadena when he passed away. There he led the Small Group Ministry for many years and served as a Deacon. He loved teaching the Word of God and led Bible Studies and Small Groups in his home for more than 30 years. George was a man of God, a man of integrity, a prosperous man, and a gentle man. His was a life well-lived. |
