A Day in the Life From the Youth Corner

Black news from Pasadena - Lifestyle - Youth CornerThis week was a very uneventful week for me.The days were long, the classes were longer, and the sun kept everyone at a snails pace as they dragged their bodies from class to class. Thankfully, one of my friends was there to help me through it. To every bad day you've ever had, one good friend has always seen me through it. It may be hard, he or she is always there for me.

Throughout freshmen and sophomore year I can confirm that I was never the social type. Friends were as elusive as a majestic bird or crumpled hundred dollar bill on the street. Thankfully though, through all the failed friendships, I had one friend who always agreed with me and always wanted to hang out. The days seemed nicer and the classes seemed shorter whenever he was around. I cherished the moments of conversation and arguments that we had because I knew no matter how violent they got, we would still be friends. That year was when I learned the crucial truth about friendship. It doesn't take a million friends to be happy. If you have one good friend, then you have the world.

Question of the Week

Everyone has one or more friends who they share the world with. Maybe you've known each other forever or maybe you just met, but you both know that you have a connection. Tell me how you knew your friend was your best friend.

Tip of the Week

Don't ever take friends for granted. Sure it can be tempting to see other people who are cooler than you and may do cooler things with there friends, but that's not what friendship is about. If you wanna do something cool, do something cool! Who's stopping you? Certainly not me.

App of the Week

Instead of an app of the week, this week I would like to give you all a friendly reminder.

If you've recently lost all your data on your iPhone, iPad, or itouch and you have cloud, worry not because I'm here to help you.

First, if its jailbroken you can go and reboot it on iTunes. This will clear all the problems that occurred with jail breaking and also boot it up to date. Next all you have to do is go to iTunes and click the purchased button on the bottom screen. this will display all purchased songs and podcasts. From there simply click the cloud button and you're done. This same technique can be applied to your apps as well. Your welcome beloved fans.
