Grand - should be the plan for the upcoming days leading to Father's Day. We can truly feel good about contributing to our families that we create, when we look along the creation continuum to see those who will descend from our unions.
When Joe’s first granddaughter, Ife, initially came to spend the day, Joe and his wife sat down on a blanket in the middle of the floor, all day, where she laid. We honestly spent the whole visit with her on the rug, mesmerized.
New granddad Kurt Toliver, hosted his little granddaughter, Kobi. She put each of theDad's present during her stay in a trance.
There is a magic to being a good grand pop. Every choice made as a father should be measured with the possibility of achieving the grand ranks. When done well, onlookers cheer. A trip to Ife's daycare found Joe standing and staring while all the children cheered, “Grandpa, hi, Grandpa!”
We at Play Day With Dad organized Fathers Week to give families a span of time to make positive memories together. Our goal is to spur up creativity & wellness activities. We hope that men will utilize their special time with family; painting, walking, dancing and letting their families know how much you value them.
Forget about greetings cards & neckties - have fun!
