Popular entertainer chooses LA Talk Radio for her return to radio
LA Talk Radio, an Internet radio station that offers entertaining programming while making dreams come true for aspiring broadcasters around the globe, today announced the return of "Mother Love" to the airwaves. Her new show, heard Monday through Friday from 2 - 4 PM PST on LA Talk Radio, is enlightening, entertaining and makes listeners think. She shares her personal trials, tribulations, failures and victories with her Radio Babies.
"My show is a place people can come in for the Mother Love they need and want," explains the American entertainer. "I strive to create a safe atmosphere where listeners can hear what they need to know about, which is not always what they want to know."
Mother Love has informative guests from all walks of life on her show as well as leading authors and physicians, community activists and actors, inventors and more. Listeners are invited to call in. Mother Love's passion for the diabetes community, the environment, and well being of people is apparent. She laughs, cries, bellows and mellows.
"No matter how big or tall short or small thick or thin, it matters NOT what skin you're in," explains Mother Love. "Everybody needs some Mother Love now and then."
From 1998 to 2000, Mother Love was the original host of Forgive or Forget. In addition, she has hosted radio programs in Los Angeles for radio stations KLSX, KACE FM, and a show on KFI. She came from Cleveland Ohio radio and appeared in such movies as Volcano, Mr. Nanny and eleven other films and has also done many TV programs.
Mother Love is the author of three books: Listen Up Girlfriends; Forgive or Forget, Never Underestimate the Power of Forgiveness; and, Half the Mother Twice the Love, My Journey to Better Health with Diabetes. She is the co-host for dLife TV, For Your Diabetes Life, seen Sundays on CNBC 4:00 PM (PST); She has been an active volunteer with the American Diabetes Association for many years; is a spokesperson for the ADA's "I Decide to Fight" diabetes campaign, doing over 200 radio interviews and TV appearances; and has been tapped to be spokesperson for the ADA's new "Choose to Live" program.
