Every day 22 children are shot. Firearms are leading cause of death in children. Now, just imagine those crazies out there driving like they lost their minds, these are the same crazies who own guns! The same ones who scream when gun safety rules are considered a betrayal of the founding fathers.
Two-thirds of gun deaths are suicides; one-third are homicides. Illegally owned guns cause 80 percent of gun crimes. This rate has increased to nearly 80 percent in the last decade. Between 2013 and 2018, more than 250 school shootings occurred on the grounds of an elementary, middle, or high school, resulting in 109 deaths and 219 injuries. Who cares? Don't you think that rational common-sense tells us, we need to take action? Remember the protests and anger over seat belts, you think the world would come to an end. Seat belt use in passenger vehicles saved an estimated 14,955 lives in 2017. Gun deaths in the U.S. is more than eight times as high as the rate in Canada and nearly 100 times higher than in the United Kingdom. Dr. Richard A.
