It's the wee hours of the morning. I've been up since 6 to pray. I have cried before the Lord, in faith, not in mourning-that's how I start each day!
Get down and dirty with Jesus-Simply cast your cares upon him-that's how I start each day!
It's a revolutionary way!
Revamp your outlook at a powerful pace! I know it doesn't take incredible faith. Start from the moment you are awake!
Exercise a 'mustard seed' size faith!
Cast all your doubts and fears away.
Fall to your knees when you awake. If you stay in bed, it's back to sleep you'll take.
The night before, set the alarm a half hour earlier.
Then, you won't have to hassle and be a hurrier.
Use that time to rest in the Lord and not be a 'worrier!'
Once your spirit is at peace, you can get up and praise him on your feet.
This precious time with God makes you complete. There's no way you can end in defeat.
Now, go shower and be sweet.
Dear Pastor Glovioell,
Our house is a circus in the mornings. One of my children, Kina, is crying about a lost book. The other one (I will not use their real names so as not to embarrass them), Shawna, is screaming because her computer printer ran out of ink. Of course, her homework is due in twenty minutes.
It is so nerve-wracking to me. I could scream some mornings. I want to hide.
Hide and Go Seek
Dear Hide and Go Seek,
As you prepare a healthy breakfast, pray over your kids. Comfort your wife or husband, and forgive them for something they did.
Anoint your home and pray for peace. As your family arises; spiritual harmony you keep.
Don't let them go through the door without praying some more.
The key is getting up early and giving God some time to speak. He's the one who awakened you from sleep. He'll give you the wisdom and understanding that brings all grace and peace.
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27)
