Friday Movie Matinees are back onsite at the Pasadena Senior Center, 85 E. Holly St., after having been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Analyze This" (1999, R) Starring Robert DeNiro and Billy Crystal – Friday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m. Suffering from intense anxiety, New York's most powerful mob boss is about to get in touch with his feelings with the help of a psychologist who has plenty of issues of his own.
"World Trade Center" (2006, PG-13) Starring Nicholas Cage and Michael Peña – Friday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. In this true story of courage and survival on America's darkest day, two New York Port Authority officers hold on to hope that they will be pulled out of the rubble of the World Trade Center alive on Sept. 11, 2001.
"A Beautiful Mind" (2001, PG-13) Starring Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly – Friday, Sept. 17, at 1 p.m. After the brilliant but antisocial mathematician John Forbes Nash Jr. accepts secret work in cryptography, his life takes a turn for the nightmarish. The film is based in part on the biography "A Beautiful Mind" by Sylvia Nasar.
"The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (1966, R) Starring Clint Eastwood and Eli Wallach – Friday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m. In this classic western set in the Southwest during the Civil War, two men form an uneasy alliance against a third in a race to steal a fortune in gold buried in a remote cemetery.
In addition to onsite as well as online activities, members and nonmembers are encouraged to visit the website regularly for COVID-19 updates for older adults and other timely information, a weekly blog, monthly magazine, ongoing activities throughout the year and more.
The center, at 85 E. Holly St., is an independent, donor-supported nonprofit organization that has served older adults for more than 60 years. During the pandemic, doors are open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for social services and other critical services for older adults in need, as well as limited occupancy in the library, fitness center and computer lab. Masks and social distancing are required. Rooms are sanitized after each use.
