"Know Thyself" Black, Film, Speaker & Discussion Series

Black news from Pasadena - Arts - Alkebu-Lan Cultural Center presents "My Nappy Roots" - history of African American hairCultural Center, in collaboration with Eta Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Pasadena Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma, invite you to a film screening and panel discussion of "My Nappy Roots", a Journey Through Black Hair-itage.

The film explores politics, culture and history of African American Hair. The community is invited to attend this free event!

The event will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Alkebu-Lan Cultural Center located at 1435 N. Raymond Avenue in Pasadena, CA 91103.
