Public Invitied to ‘Rain or Shine’ Art Show

Black news from Pasadena - Art- Rain or Shine art exhibitThe City's Adaptive Recreation Art Program debuts artwork created by local artists with disabilities beginning Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the Armory Center for the Arts. The public is invited to a free opening reception 3 p.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, July 12, at the Armory Center for the Arts Community Room, 145 N. Raymond Avenue.

The "Rain or Shine" exhibit will be on display at the Armory Center for the Arts July 12 to Sept. 7, 2014, with "Rain or Shine"- themed poems and pictures illustrating the artists' day-to-day hopes and challenges.

"Rain or Shine" art booklets will be available at the event for a $10 donation. Donations are tax deductible through the Pasadena Recreation and Parks Foundation.

The City of Pasadena Adaptive Recreation Program provides weekly art activities for artists with disabilities who live in the Pasadena/Altadena area.
