ALTADENA, Calif.—October 21, 2020—Join Five Acres in their first-ever virtual race to raise money and bring safety, well-being and permanency to children and families across six counties. Five Acres is hosting a Turkey Trot virtual race from November 1 through November 26.
This November, people don’t have to wait until the day of Thanksgiving to participate in the traditional Turkey Trot. Registering for the Five Acres Turkey Trot gives participants a chance to decide the location, the date and how they’d like to participate. Sign ups open October 26 at 8 a.m. and registration starts at $25 for one trotter, $45 for two trotters, and a special team price of $90 for groups of four. Every trotter will receive a Five Acres 2020 Racer’s Bib and Clif Bar. Trotters participate individually or in teams by walking, biking, or running while wearing their Five Acres Racer’s Bib. The organization is encouraging trotters to take pictures while they trot, upload them to Instagram and Facebook, use the hashtag #5ATurkeyTrot2020, and tag @fiveacresorg to share the Turkey Trot experience with the Five Acres social community. “The Five Acres Turkey Trot is a perfect way to get outside and do something with your family or spend self-care time in nature,” said Five Acres Chief Advancement Officer Jennifer Berger. “Now more than ever the children and families we serve are in need of major assistance and the Five Acres Turkey Trot is how you can help support our mission of strengthening children and families and empowering them within their communities.” Sign up to Five Acres Turkey Trot by visiting this link: https://runsignup.com |
